da sucks

Deviant art sucks because the only work that gets viewed are bright, colorful pieces. Because people are like crows; they like anything shiny and new.


Anyhow. I've been doing well at SCAD. I just thought I'd make a journal entry to make it clear that my works on here are STUDIES. This is because I'm in foundation classes...things are done quickly and are supposed to convey that you've learned a technique. Which is great because I didn't go to college to have people tell me how to think. I know how to think. I don't know how to use InDesign or paint in wet fresco. Just don't expect to see anything screaming from the soul for quite some time.

I actually tried to upload a simple journal entry and DA was being a bitch! The other thing I want to upload..which is way more awesome..may have some copyright issues (if it's used..it'll be put on t-shirts like..everywhere they want to sell it). But I can give you a sneak peak! It's far along, but it's not finished by any means.

And school is crazy already...but I'm going to try to document all my work as a finish it this quarter.

I'll note you with preview..and off I go to try to upload that journal entry.
